Board training from the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation’s multi-month Non-Profit Learning program provided the insight to hone my skills as an Executive Board Member and couple the knowledge gained with my expertise in DEIB to help other non-profit boards to integrate DEIB into their own governance.
As Dean of Equity and Inclusion and Director of The Davis Center (a multicultural center) I spearheaded DEIB initiatives across campus, advocated for marginalized groups, led engaging workshops, updated policy to lower barriers, led the response to bias incidents, and mentored fellow staff (amongst many other engagements).
Through statistic courses in graduate school and the Consortium for the Advancement of Research Methods and Analysis, I boosted my expertise in designing and conducting comprehensive equity audits that cater best practices to any organization’s needs while also presenting information in a way that is accessible to any constituent.
Pluralism Solutions offers recruitment and retention strategies to increase diversity, interactive workshops, equity audits, executive coaching, employee resource group development, and progress metric identification.
