The Berkshire Black Economic Council’s Black Arts Council is proud to announce Berkshire Afro Renaissance Grant 2024. This grant is for Black youth, ages 12-25 years old, to support local Afro artist’s equipment needs. Example include but are not limited to:
- Paint, easel, sketchbook
- Sewing machine, fabric scissors
- Camera, poloroid film, tripod
- Instruments, stage props, DJ turntables
- Adobe, photoshop
- Craft supplies: glue gun, collage paper and so much more!

Eligibility:
- Applications must be completed by Black Artists between the age of 12 years old and 25 years of age.
- Applicants between the ages of 12-14 must complete their application in person at The Berkshire Black Economic Council’s office at 33 Dunham Mall, Pittsfield Ma 01201 ( To schedule a time to apply email BBEC at arts@berkshirebec.org or call BBEC at 413.441.0111)
- Art funding can support the following needs: visual arts, textile arts, photography, performing arts, graphic design, mixed media, music, curatorial arts, and more!
