Her dance philosophy and style are inspired by break dance\, samba\, capoeira\, and ballet. \n6:30pm: Performance by The Hood Lockers\nFormed in 2005\, The Hood Lockers are an internationally known dance group with a shared enthusiasm for street dance. Their work and performance center on the “cultural preservation and progression of Locking\,” and they aim to serve as educators\, inspiration\, and influencers of hip hop culture. \nImmediately following the performance\, all are invited to the community dance circle led by the Hood Lockers and in collaboration with The Wandering Dance Society. \nIn collaboration with the City of Pittsfield’s Office of Cultural Development.
