    Join The Brien Center for "Community Conversations: The Effects of the Pandemic on Mental Health and How to Manage Moving Forward", a series of events open to the public starting in May, which is Mental Health Awareness Month. The events will begin at around 5:30 PM and take place at various locations including Berkshire Athenaeum in Pittsfield on May 10, Lenox Library on May 24, North Adams Library on May 31, and Berkshire South Regional Community Center on June 7.

  • Free Film Screening: The Street Project

    On December 29 a new documentary, The Street Project, will be screened at The Berkshire Athenaeum in Pittsfield highlighting the global, citizen-led fight to make our streets safer.

    Created by the multiple Emmy-winning team at Boyd Productions, The Street Project takes viewers across the globe in an uplifting narrative, from cycling-friendly meccas in Europe to New York City and Phoenix, Arizona – one of the most dangerous cities in America for pedestrians – for a deep dive into how America views our streets and how they can be made safer.
